More and more people are turning to the world wide web every day in an effort to find a legitimate money making system that they can use to generate some extra cash from the comfort of their own homes. If you are not experienced in doing that, the task probably will look overwhelming to you, just like it did to everyone else when they first started. I am not going to lie to anyone, making money online requires dedication, determination, focus, hard work and a lot of time. I have tried most of the "just set it and forget it" scams online, none of which made me any money whatsoever even though like most of you i was promised to get rich. I have heard it all, "let me show you how i turned 50 dollars into millions", "My software will bring you unlimited visitors to your site, guaranteed.", and so on, and so forth. There are many scams online these days, a lot of people promising you wealth and fame overnight.. They are very gifted and i have to give them credit for that, because whatever they say sounds astonishingly believable. At the end of the day, they are the only ones that make money, yours that is. I am not saying that everyone out there is a scam artist. I have to say there are some legit people that sell products that actually might help you in your struggle to make money online. You have to be smart and make your own decisions, if someone tells you, here is a website just set it and start collecting enormous amounts of money overnight, chances are they are more than likely lying to you. Do your own research on any product you want to buy before buying it.

Having said all that, let us look at the bright side, yes it is true you can make money online, and there are many ways to do so, however do not expect to quit your job anytime soon. Just like anything else, building an online system that will work for you takes time, good planning and lots of promotion. I have been trying to unveil the secrets of making money online for years now, and i cannot say that I've been successful, i will not say that i failed either, as i have made some money but nothing to brag about, and that took like i said earlier years of research and hard work. Recently, i have just gotten back into the "making money online game" if you want to call it so. I have had two sites built for me,one is: MoneyBlogIdeas.com and the other is: ChildrenBedStories.com, both sites were professionally built, but i am spending a lot of time promoting both of them, and by a lot of time i mean like 2 to 3 hours nightly on weekdays and about 5 to 6 hours a day on the weekends. So far, i was successful in getting one of my sites to the first page on Google for the same keyword phrase as the name of the site, and i got the other site to the first page of both Yahoo and Bing. This is only the beginning, as my sites just started to see some traffic, nothing to brag about yet, cause they'll show on first page only for one keyword phrase. I still have ways to go before i can see real traffic.

That is the hardest part of making any money online, now, once you get the visitors, you can concentrate on getting the links that will make you some money. That is the easy part, you have to be careful however as to promote products that are related to your site's content. Don't try to promote dog food on a cars site, or books on a computers site. Most likely, a sports site visitor will be interested in buying a jersey of his or her favorite team, and a pets site visitors might be interested in buying pets foods or toys, you get the point i guess. Once again don't be fooled by all the hype. As we all know there are NO "Get-Rich-Quick" programs online or offline or anywhere. Like any business, making money online with affiliate programs or by selling your own products takes hard work, dedication, determination and lots of time.
